l.a. farmer's market and venice beach

Did you know there's a farmer's market in L.A.? That's actually more of a gathering of unique and utterly delicious food stalls, strange stores and beautiful artwork?

Sticker heaven

We did several laps, experiencing every sight, sound and smell there was.

We ♥ Loteria!

Dogs up for adoption. I'll take them all, please.

After the market, we cruised around The Grove for a bit. Did some therapeutic shopping. Fulfilled a childhood dream and explored American Girl Place.

Then had a delicious lunch in Little Ethiopia. Intensely spiced, incredibly aromatic vegetarian dishes, and plenty of injera. Just right.

Injera. The spongy, sourdough flatbread we used as our utensil.

Finally on to Venice Beach. Colorful crowds, art vendors, street performers, and plenty of drum circles. We walked down the boardwalk, then back up on the beach. The water was cold, the wind was strong, and the sun was bright. Perfect beach day.
