yurt love

I love: wood, rounded shapes, and natural light. So the yurt Maeve and I slept in in Penny's backyard while in Canberra was absolutely wonderful. With a carpet of layered rugs underfoot, and plenty of windows and even an oculus to let in glorious sunshine, we fell asleep with the glow of moonlight and woke up with crisp morning sun pouring in. Even more inspiration for a peaceful place of my own one day.

Also, anyone who has walls of books (and a quilt thrown over a chair) in their house is a friend of mine. Loved our time in this lovely home.
