All these lakes around town are absolutely perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Pack a little picnic, grab your bathers and towels, and off you go. It was a great few hours of swimming, playing and laughing. Pasca, Blossom and I traversed the lake, then the bigger kids took a few paddle boats out for a spin while the littles splashed around in their floaties. And little Tom, who I look after a few days a week, was fascinated with the canoes. Trying to lift them, peeking under to see what could be hiding there, he gave them a good once(or thrice)-over. A beautiful way to wind down before getting back to the weekly grind. And don't ask me why Pasca and Blossom thought it was necessary to dress up like they did, sometimes their pure silliness escapes me!
