Sitting pretty in my beach hostel right now, just waiting to go out to dinner, but forgot to share that I tried Vegemite! Did the classic preparation on toast with butter, and the final verdict- extremely nauseous about thirty minutes later! Think Fabian was right when he said it tasted faintly of beer (surprise, surprise, it is yeast), and I'm not scared to try it again. Maybe with cheese or avocado next. Hopefully my taste buds and stomach don't object so strongly!
